Spring Break and Summer Day Camps

- Fee: $54/day for members, $60/day for non-members
We are offering an assortment of Day Camps during two Spring Break periods this year! Sessions run from March 11 – 15 (Sarasota County Spring Break) and again from March 25 – 29 (Manatee County Spring Break). These Day Camp sessions include a water activity. Please see your confirmation email for what to wear and bring to camp.
Migrating Manatees
Are you ready to embark on an incredible underwater adventure with the magnificent manatees? Join us for a fun-filled and educational day camp where you’ll dive into the world of these gentle giants, explore their natural habitat, and learn about the importance of conservation efforts to protect these creatures. Available 3/11 and 3/25.
Soaring Seabirds
Calling all young nature enthusiasts and aspiring birdwatchers! Join us for an exciting day camp where you’ll spread your wings and explore the fascinating world of seabirds. Get ready to take flight on an unforgettable journey through our island and bay in search of these seabirds! Available 3/12 and 3/26.
Wetland Wildlife
Prepare for an unforgettable camp in the heart of wetland ecosystems, where the magic of nature unfolds before your eyes. We invite young explorers to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of wetlands and the fascinating wildlife that calls them home. Available 3/13 and 3/27.
Mighty Mangroves
Get ready for a STEM-filled journey through the enchanting world of mangrove ecosystems. Join us for an opportunity for young environmental enthusiasts to explore the unique and vital mangrove forests and the amazing life forms they harbor. Available 3/14 and 3/28.
Whale Wonders
Follow the underwater adventures of the whales and explore their world as we adventure through the aquarium. This is a unique opportunity for young marine enthusiasts to discover the fascinating and majestic lives of these gentle giants of the sea. Available 3/15 and 3/29.
We are offering an array of Day Camps at the beginning and end of this summer as well as the week of July 4th. Each Day Camp session includes a thrilling water activity to add a splash of excitement. Check your confirmation email for what to wear and bring to camp.
Wednesday, May 29th – Turtle Trek
Join us for a day filled with captivating tales about turtles. Campers will dive into the world of sea turtles, learning about their incredible journeys, unique adaptations, and conservation efforts to protect these magnificent creatures. This camp includes a water activity, dip netting in the bay.
Thursday, May 30th – Coral Reef Quest
Campers will embark on a fascinating journey to explore the colorful and vibrant world of coral reefs. Discover the diverse marine life that calls coral reefs their home, learn about their importance, and take part in creating miniature reef ecosystems. This camp includes a water activity, dip netting in the bay.
Friday, May 31st – Shark Safari
Dive into the thrilling world of sharks on our Shark Safari! Campers will delve into the mysterious realm of these apex predators, discovering their impressive adaptations and crucial role in ocean ecosystems. This camp includes a water activity, dip netting in the bay.
Monday, July 1st – Patriotic Pufferfish
Join us for a day of patriotism and marine fun! Campers will learn about the fascinating world of pufferfish while celebrating the spirit of Independence Day. This camp includes a water activity, dip netting in the bay.
Tuesday, July 2nd – Star-Spangled Seas
Campers will explore the wonders of the sea, discovering marine creatures that shimmer and shine just like stars. This camp includes a water activity, dip netting in the bay.
Wednesday, July 3rd – Red, White, and Blue Fish
Celebrate the upcoming Fourth of July in a fishy fashion with Red, White, and Blue Fish day! Campers will learn about different types of fish. This camp includes a water activity, dip netting in the bay.
Monday, August 5th – Octopus Odyssey
Campers will immerse themselves in the mysterious world of octopuses, learning about their intelligence, adaptations, and camouflage abilities.This camp includes a water activity, dip netting in the bay.
Tuesday, August 6th – Jellyfish Jamboree
Dive into the graceful world of jellyfish at our Jellyfish Jamboree! Campers will learn about these mesmerizing creatures, their unique biology, and their importance in the marine ecosystem. This camp includes a water activity, dip netting in the bay.
Wednesday, August 7th – Crab Crusaders
