Range & Habitat:
As young, blue angelfish like to live in bays, shallow channels and inshore reefs. As they mature, they'll migrate to offshore reef environments. They occur in the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.

Bermuda blue angelfish are hard to miss in reef communities with their bright blue and yellow coloring. Their bright colors making it difficult to hide, blue angelfish produce a loud thumping noise to startle any potential predators. This species of fish is thought to be monogomous, traveling with only one partner throughout their lifespan. Breeding year-round, female blue angelfish can produce up to 75 thousand eggs each day of their spawning cycle.
